In the glue coating work, the pressure reducing valve is a very common equipment. Its main function is to adjust the pressure to achieve the purpose of accurate glue coating.
In the practical application, we may encounter various problems. Today, we will check the possible faults of the pressure reducing valve and the corresponding solutions.
1 、 Pressure regulation failure
Cause 1 : Diaphragm spool assembly damage Solution : Replace the diaphragm spool assembly
Cause 2 : Valve seat leakage or dirty stuck solution : Replace the spool assembly, or clean the valve seat
2, cut off the flow
Reason 1 : Diaphragm spool damage Solution : Replace the diaphragm spool assembly
Reason 2 : Regulating device damage Solution : Replace the regulating device
3, the pressure exceeds the set value
Cause 1 : There is wear or metal chips or pollution between the ball seat and the valve seat Solution : Replace the spool assembly, or clean the valve seat
Reason 2 : Sealing damage or poor sealing Solution : Replace the sealing ring
Cause 3 : air regulator damage or gas path blockage ( only pneumatic regulator ) Solution : Remove obstacles in air ducts
Reason 4 : Valve inlet pressure change solution : control the inlet pressure, make it as stable as possible
Cause 5 : The thermal expansion and contraction of the temperature change of the fluid in the closed pipeline system at the outlet end leads to the solution : precise temperature control or closing temperature control.
4, the pressure drops to the set value
Cause 1 : Air regulator damage or gas supply line damage ( pneumatic regulator only ) Solution : Remove foreign matter in the gas path or replace the air regulator
Reason 2 : Exceed the rated flow capacity Solution : Install multiple assigned interfaces and spray guns
Reason 3 : the valve inlet pressure change solution : adjust the pressure reducing valve inlet pressure
5, the fluid leakage from the spring shell
Reason 1 : valve shell loose solution : tighten the valve body four bolts
Cause 2 : Diaphragm valve needle assembly damage solution : Replace the diaphragm valve core assembly
6. Tremor or abnormal sound
Reason 1 : the pressure difference between the pump and the gun is too large Solution : properly reduce the pump pressure, usually to not exceed the set pressure of 2000psi ( 14mpa, 138 bar ).
Cause 2 : Excessive flow Solution : Install multiple assigned interfaces and spray guns
